Prairie Class
Yes, it is a lovely shot of my bald
head . . . and my Bonsai Tree . . .
Actually, the star of the photo is
the new "Prairie Class" prototype.
Ready for some serious
long range work
3 Pc. stock set.
Do you remember that
nine pound chunk of steel in the photo a few months ago?
Well, here's the same
pc. of steel. Receiver probably now weighs about 2 1/2" pounds.
Everything is integral to this special prototype. This is definitely
doing it the hard way.
Center panel is "leather
textured" and the Barnes "Hallmark" is struck in
the oval.
Bi-Pod hard point mount
is provided in the laminated forearm. Plenty of room left for
a "Palm" rest stance for a standing shot.
The "Soul"
of the pc. is in the details. These touches take serious time.
Butt stock is on an
outrigger.
Pistol Grip with hammer
cocking stud above. Power is adjustable up to about 250 ft. lbs.
in this "One Off" 32 caliber pcp.
