Gary,
I like the concept of "homestead".. Andi i agree with the reasoning behind it..so Count Me In.

Garry:
Sounds like a good thing to me.Go for it.

I think your idea of the "Homestead" site is great. Please send me the URL to this. After meeting you in person and shooting some of your guns, I can't understand how anyone with any airgun knowledge and experience would bash you and your guns:).

Your guns are unique and show a great deal of artistic and engineering talent. That defines "custom made" and that is why I decided to order a project from you. Take care and mow the yard before the local residents complain that "He just let it go and our property value is dropping".

I follow your website daily for my own
interest and I count you as a friend even though I have never met you in
person.

Please ... the homestead URL for an interested friend.

I would love to be able to just visit and read and maybe once in a while give my two cents ;?) I've been so busy with school that I always find the time to visit for visual candy your beautiful creations.

I'm not one of your customers yet but definitely a fan.

I've been having withdrawl problems while you were gone. I check your site just like I
check my email every day.

You're right about the entertaining that you do. I love to see your work and I like to
see what you're up to. I wish I had the talent/patience to do the simplest of your projects.

Unfortunately I do see the defense that your "celebrity status" requires. I would be honored
to be "allowed in."

Gary,
Thanks for all that you do for us. I know, "That's it? Just a plain old
thanks?!". Well, If I had to sit here and recount all the laughs, oos and
ahhs I'd never get to sleep and I'd probably miss my flight tomorrow err,
this morning. Now that we have to show up 24 hours in advance for security,
I'll probably miss it anyway! Your website it akin to a favorite talk radio
station, one I listen to every day but almost never call. To the point, I'd
like to take part in the new Homestead even if I'd be more of a listener.

Thanks a bunch!

Gary,
I faithfully read the daily briefing page, but do not email very
much. I know you are a very busy man, and I try to keep my emails short
and brief for that reason. I would like the url to the new Homestead
Page.

Gary,

I would appreciate access to the homestead site.

BTW I enjoyed meeting you and Kelly at SS4 and hope to make SS5.

Mr Gary Barnes, Sir,

I have been reading the wondrous information on your website since I came
across it a few months ago.

Here in the UK, we have to apply for a Firearms Certificate for any airgun
that produces over 12 foot-pounds muzzle energy, so ownership of one of
your guns, for me is a long way off ...

.........

I think that your guns are wonders of engineering and way too beautiful to
take into the field for a hunting trip, I'd be scared of scratching the
wood-work, but the grins on faces that they must produce, must be a sight
to behold!

I regularly enjoy reading the "daily update" and your "discussion pages"
which helps me while away the quiet hours in my work.

I would like to be granted access to the "Homestead" pages in order to read
and hopefully contribute to the discussions which for me will remain
"theoretical" until we can convince our government that guns are OK, it's
the idiots that need the regulation.

I wish you all the very best of luck for the future.

Hi, Gary:

Sign me up. I enjoy your conversation and your lovely guns, and am
fascinating by good craftsmenship.

Good luck with screening out the hostiles. Too much testerone on the
forums, I think, and guns bring out the male in too many of us anyway.
I just like to see good technology working well, in a well designed device.

Thanks.

Hello Gary:

I would like to have access to the Homestead side of Barnes Pneumatic.

Also I would like to share a few thoughts about Standing Stone IV. For me it was an awesome experience. Being there, with all that great group
of people, having the opportunity to try some of your rifles and pistols and
specially having the opportunity to know you in person. This was my first
experience in an air gun show, but I think that most of the people
interested in your work felt the same. Also I had the feeling that the show
was low in people attendance. It didn't affect me at all, because in my
opinion the guys that were there, were the ones that had to be there, no
more no less...

requesting permission to come aboard

Hi Gary,

I'd be pleased to be a part of the "homestead", and it won't bother me
a bit to email every month if that's what it takes. Good luck

PS Being in the medical field ,as you know, I am only too familiar with
the malcontent/conspiracy theorist types who inhabit the moldy corners
on the Internet!

Hey Gary,
I am sorry I missed you at SS4, I was looking
forward to it but fate was against me....

.......I know its probably a little to
soon for you but I'm looking forward to SS5, with a
little luck maybe I'll make it.

.......The Homestead site
sounds like an excellent idea to me an I would be
honored to receive the URL.

.....I've read a few of the negative post directed at you
in the past and even saw one about SS4. I don't know
you Gary, but I have met you and watched you interact
with people for a good while last year at Roanoke. You
seem ok to me , someone I could go hunting with, thats
why I decided to get you to build me a gun.

Gary ....... I would like access to this new venue.

Hi Gary,

Your Homestead url pleeeez. I at least need to look at your great work even if I can't afford any, and your sense of humour and your "straight shootin' tell it like it is" approach, is sure refreshing in our society of saccharin smiles and polite remarks.

.....Decoder ring request

Gary,
Glad you and wife are back in one piece. I missed the posts on the website. I check in every few days to see what's cooking.

It sounds like you have been busy with Standing Stone. I have hesitated sending any emails knowing what a busy schedule is like. I thought I would take this homesteading opportunity to check out another aspect of what you do

Hi Gary,

Sorry some people from TOG gave you a hard time. I came to meet you and shoot your guns. I read what you posted on the forum, and you were correct. A few bad seeds do not represent the majority of the people who enjoyed the efforts of you and the club.

I would be more than happy to donate some of my time to SS5 if that may become a reality.
