Yukon Series

If you've followed the site for a few years, you've noted when I told you I'd installed new machinery, made new tooling, developed new techniques for building, etc. With the introduction of the V-Twin Series, I began more fully reaping the potential of what I'd developed thru the years. The V-Twin 45 Prototype, the Hoss 45 Pistol, the Chaparral 25 Pistol Carbine, and the Yukon Series are all children of this technology.

In fact; most every model I've previously made, can now be built with a sister version from the V-Twin build family. I like them. Evidently you like them too, based upon the feedback.

Intending the V-Twin 45 Prototype to be a lighter weight medium powered 45, I used the butt reservoir design. Works very fine for the purpose. Would work well in 25, 32 as well. For the heavier powered work, I wanted to bring more air onboard. I prototyped the Yukon Series with the reservoir under the barrel for more length. These are more stout rifles. Heavier Breech feed bolt rifles. Bench guns that can go afield for hunting. Trust me, you don't want a little light weight rifle pounding your shoulder @ 650+ fpe. Nice to carry - mean to shoot. But, you shoot firearms at higher power - why don't they seem too bad? Darned if I know - but blasting out a 510-675 grain slug from a monster airgun will pound you good if it's too light.

I made the Yukon 58 GS prototype to take on a Boar Hunt in Feb. of 04. So many immediately asked about it that I had to take time to work out this material for you. Any questions, I'll try to explain. Just e-mail. Please keep in mind ... if I were simply retailing these products, I could wrap up package deals for you. However; every part requires that I draw a bar of material off the racks and begin machining. Every feature adds many hours - often days to the build.

For the Yukon Series, 10% down is good. See Business with Barnes for ordering and term details.
